Internship Opportunities
History, Technology, and Society (HTS) majors are encouraged to pursue internships while at Georgia Tech. Internships give students a chance to put their skills to work now and to prepare for careers after graduation. Recent interns have worked in many organizations, including the Criminal Investigations Division of the Office of the Solicitor General of Fulton County, the Mayor’s Office, Planned Parenthood, the Atlanta History Center, the Georgia Tech Archives, the Robert C. Williams Paper Museum, the Mark Taylor Gubernatorial Campaign, Governor Sonny Purdue’s office, the Fernbank Natural History Museum, and the offices of U.S. representatives John Lewis and Cynthia McKinney.
Click on “The Ivan” for a list of hundreds of available internships. For help identifying additional internship opportunities and for more information on the internship program, please contact HTS Director of Undergraduate Studies, John Tone (218 DM Smith Building). To make an appointment with Dr. Tone, go to www.advising.iac.gatech.edu.
