Overloads/Permits

Procedures

  1. Overload & permit requests are submitted online via this form or via e-mail.
  2. Overloads are used when classes are filled to capacity and you are requesting that a professor exceed his/her registration limit to accommodate an additional student. Permits are used to limit the registration in a course to HTS majors and/or particular groups (such as seniors). A permit is a request for permission to add a restricted class, and must approved by the professor. Please DO NOT CONTACT PROFESSORS DIRECTLY. Only requests made via the web or by emailing LaDonna Bowen will be processed.
  3. Complete all fields in the form.

Please note: Your submission will be forwarded to the course's professor for approval. All fields must be completed

  4. Once approved, your request will be entered in the system before close of business.
  5. If you experience any problems, please contact LaDonna Bowen via e-mail.

  6. After the overload/permit is issued, it is your responsibility to register for the course.
